Digital Art Video Completes Custom P1.9 LED Wall Installation for CCBA
A historic theater at 62 Mott Street receives a modern, high-resolution visual centerpiece for live productions, community events, presentations, and performances.
Digital Art Video recently completed the design and installation of a custom permanent LED video wall for the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association, located at 62 Mott Street in New York City.
The new installation transforms the organization’s traditional theater and stage into a modern, fully functional production environment. The LED wall can now serve as a digital backdrop, presentation display, scenic element, video playback screen, and visual centerpiece for live events.

A Large-Format P1.9 LED Wall
The completed LED wall measures approximately 8.2 feet high by 23 feet wide, or 2.5 meters by 7 meters.
The system was constructed using high-quality T-Series P1.9 mm LED panels, with each cabinet measuring 1000 × 500 mm. The fine 1.9 mm pixel pitch provides excellent image detail, strong color reproduction, and a professional viewing experience, even for audience members seated close to the stage.
The wall uses NovaStar A5s Plus receiving cards and components carrying ETL, EMC, and FCC certifications. The system is designed for dependable long-term operation and can play and scale high-resolution media sourced at up to 8K.

Complete Infrastructure and System Integration
This project involved much more than installing LED panels.
Digital Art Video planned and completed the necessary cable routing for the LED wall, media server, signal distribution, networking, and system control. Additional electrical circuits were installed to provide the power capacity and reliability required for the complete system.
We also installed a high-end media playback system designed to be powerful while remaining easy for the venue’s staff to operate. The LED system was integrated with the theater’s existing sound system, allowing video presentations, performances, ceremonies, and multimedia programs to use coordinated audio and visual playback.
Every part of the system was carefully installed, tested, configured, and organized to provide a clean and dependable production workflow.

Remote Support, Training, and Maintenance
To make long-term support easier, Digital Art Video added a remote KVM access system. This allows our technical team to assist with troubleshooting, system configuration, and operational support without always requiring an on-site visit.
After the installation was completed, we trained the venue’s staff on daily operation, media playback, basic system care, and routine maintenance.
Digital Art Video also supplied extra replacement parts and installation materials in addition to the system’s standard warranty coverage. This helps the venue respond quickly to maintenance needs and keeps the LED wall ready for important events.
A New Future for a Historic Stage
The completed LED wall has completely changed what is possible inside the theater.
Instead of relying only on traditional curtains and physical scenery, the venue can now display cinematic backgrounds, custom graphics, sponsor content, presentations, live camera feeds, cultural imagery, and animated scenic environments.
The client was extremely pleased with the completed installation. Since the upgrade, the theater has gained renewed interest as a venue for professional and high-profile projects.
By combining modern LED technology with the character of an established community theater, Digital Art Video created a flexible production space that can support the venue for many years to come.
